Granit cardigan

The Granit cardigan is worked top-down and flat, with classic raglan increases and with texture on the body below the sleeves. The sleeves are worked after the body on double pointed needles or, if you like, the magic loop method. The texture on the body is called Granite stitch and it is recommended to work it on 5 mm bigger needles as it draws in a bit.
The button bands are worked last, after picking up the edge stitches on the front opening.

Yarn: Duo from Sandnes (50 g = 115 m).
Materials: 150 (200) 200 (200) 250 (250) 300 (350) g of DK weight yarn.
Suggested needles: 4 mm (size 6 US) circular needles and 4 mm (size 6 US) double pointed needles. 4,5 mm (size 7 US) circular needles for textured section and 3,5 mm (size 4 US) circular needles for button bands.
Gauge: 22 st/10 cm (4 inches) in stockinette stitch on 4 mm (size 6 US) needles.
