Gormur sweater
This pattern had been in my head for a long time and I started over many times, tried different stitches and all kinds of yarn just to get it as perfect as I saw it in my mind. Finally – here it is, ready, with a different collar than the usual one, a Shawl collar.
The sweater is worked top down, flat to begin with to shape the v - neck and later joined in the round. With classic raglan increases. The simple texture stitch on the body below the sleeves, called Garter Rib stitch, only uses knit and purl stitches. I recommend reading the pattern before you start.
